Gallagher Bros. Security/Storm Doors offer important security features for your safety including extra strength deadbolt locking protection and heavy duty 16 gauge steel consturction. Integral vault pins behind each hinge also resist tampering and breakage. Paint - Every door is sandblasted, degreased and phosphated for exceptional powder coat adhesion. Powder coating is a state-of-the-art electrostatically applied polyester color powder that is fused to the steel at 450°. Tested to be three times as durable as wet sprayed finish. Frame - Each door is constructed of heavy gauge steel with mitered top corners to eliminate water collection and the need for unsightly plastic caps. Glass - All doors come with shatter resistant tempered safety glass with a weather-stripped frame to keep wind and moisture out. Hinges - There are three 7" forged ornamental iron hinges with brass bushings for a quiet swing and non-sag installation. Hinges are secured to the door and jamb with non-reversible screws. Lock - No door would be complete without a heavy duty deadbolt lock. We would be happy to show you their many lock packages. Closer - We provide a heavy duty pneumatic door closer with shock absorber storm chain for a gentle closure. Jamb - Doors seal tightly on our extra heavy metal frame. Plush pole weather-stripping and two vinyl bottom sweeps prevent heating and cooling loss. Hinge Pins - Our two hardened steel stationary dead vault pins provide 4-way locking security. Screen - All doors include a fiberglass screen to let air in but keep pests out. |
